So sticking to Blogger, but until I can find a free upload host that would support .php I'll consider moving to WordPress - you guys are just going to have to cope with my ramblings here for a little while longer.

Wordpress anyone?

It seems I might be leaving the Blogger system, which has served me quite well in my blogging years... ahh seem so old now, and try to adapt to the widely spoken and comprehensive blogging system on the internet; WordPress.

However to maintain an advertisment free wordpress based blog, you will need to install WordPress on your own server (keeping it mind it supports .php) meaning you need to download the required files from their website.

But this got me thinking since WordPress is free, according their main website it might be possible to have free blogging services on the internet that might just host a blogging interface much like WordPress or even better using the WordPress system itself.

And this is when I stumbled across quite a few free WordPress blogs hosts, however I have yet to find one decent and stable enough and advertisement free but I guess overtime we might see something arise with WordPress-i-goodness and the stability of Blogger (server wise) I mean come'on let's face it, blogger does have a pretty good server host and rarely down - nothing like some good old ass-licking more like it here now huh? As for advertisments free? Well I can't complain, becuase that would never happen or will it?

Those of you who would like to use WordPress but unable to host on your own server the WordPress system, then maybe you could give the following free WordPress based blogging services a go;

Blogsome A pretty decent free host, with minimum advertisments, that appear not too distracting to readers. However I dislike the format of running WordPress multi user edition (but that's obviously just a personal objection)

Free Blog City As if the name doesn't give it away the impression it's a cheap free host (it makes sense... think about it) looking at the mainsite certainly doesn't give quite an overwhelming impression, but reading in a side column of what its got to offer, fair enough - and seems like it's running the single user version of WordPress (which is all in well good for myself).

But here is the let down limited features they didn't want you to know before signing up; limited themes (just one plain looking main theme) however is customizable with what colours etc through the css. But that's it, not even a chance to browse over the dozen of themes WordPress actually has in itself.

Blogthing Another host I stumbled across and from what it looks like on paper, it maybe the best free WordPress host there is, but at the time of writing I was unable to sign up due to database issues, so I was unable to have a hands on with this service, but anxiously waiting to give to it ago once their database issues are resolved.

The main reason I'm considering the change is the need for proper categories assortment, it may seem like I have categories here at the moment when in actual fact they are all seperate blogs linked together which makes it quite hard to update and maintain, and should a new fresh post be made in one of these blogs/categories, they will not show on the "main page" unless I make a post there to show it - my posts will go unnoticed.

Coolest Picture Ever!

Didn't get up to much today, woke up kinda late in the afternoon or as I prefer early evening and just stumbled across perhaps the best picture in existance on the internet as we know it.

I went outside at the front yard, and elevated my head towards the blue sky to wonder at it's glory and this is what I saw, luckily I had my camera with me at the time to capture it... ok really I didn't - Has it really become such an addiction that I just take it at night because my body feels tired and run down from the fixture my two daily coffee feeds during that day? I was beginning to worry, so I did the next best thing possible...

I checked up the effects of too much caffeine and what it could do to you on the net, and really as much as they sound as convincing for the negative effects I just can't seem to stop drinking it, there are some of the effects of caffeine which I fear may have taken its' shine in my body already. Below are some things which I had no idea about caffeine;

Taken from http://www.abc.net.au with this article caffeine

1. What Caffeine Gets Up To In The Body

Caffeine is absorbed rapidly into the bloodstream
from the gastro-intestinal tract. It reaches maximum concentration within about
an one hour. The blood distributes it throughout the body. It even manages to
pass through the blood-brain barrier.

The half life of caffeine in the
human body varies between 3 to 7 hours. Throughout the body it increases
metabolic rate by around 10%. Females metabolise caffeine 20-30% more quickly
than males. However, it will take women on "the pill" twice as long to
metabolise caffeine as women who are ovulating.

Early experiments showed that low concentrations of caffeine may produce small decreases in heart rate, whereas higher concentrations may make the heart beat abnormally fast.
In the brain it constricts the cerebral blood vessels. If you're used to drinking
several cups of coffee a day but then you quit, those blood vessels will dilate,
maybe enough to give you a powerful headache. It's one of the best known
withdrawal symptoms.

Many people know that caffeine is a strong diuretic - it makes you urinate more than usual. Apparently this is due to increasing the blood flow through the kidneys.

It can produce insomnia - delaying the onset of sleep and reducing total sleeping time. It has a small effect on respiration by increasing blood flow through the lungs and increasing the supply of air by relaxing bronchiolar and alveolar smooth muscle. That's why it's proving effective in treating the breathing problems of some prematurely born infants.

Some people experience tremors after drinking coffee and tea.
That's thought to be due to over-activation of the central nervous system.

Well one things for sure is I tend to visit the toilets quite often than usual in the morning's at TAFE. Another good thing, atleast I'm not on a 'pill'.

5. Sobering Thoughts About Caffeine

"And I'd better have a big cup of extra strong black
coffee to get me past the breathalyser."
Unfortunately, this is one of the most enduring myths about caffeine. True, it may manage to puncture that aura of numbness and make you feel a little sharper but it's no better at sobering you up and lowering your blood alcohol level than a glass of water.

On the other hand caffeine is a good friend the morning after. Alcohol can give you a thumping headache by enlarging cranial blood vessels. Caffeine constricts them and so may bring some relief from the hangover blues. That's why it's an ingredient in some over-the-counter pain killers.

Now if only I knew this was the only cure for a hangover I would've taken some the morning after those drinking nights.

Wow, that wasn't expected

You Will Die at Age 58

58

Not bad, considering your super wild lifestyle

Want to live longer? I'm talking about the fish I own - I love each and everyone of them and even I sometimes lose count of actually just how many fish are in the tank and I mean tank. Not talking about just a small fish bowl with like some plastic castle like structure and the one and only fish in the bowl think's he's the King... or Queen.

But that's not how the fish are here as you see in the pictures, I originally borrowed the digital camera to take pictures of my ride to post up for sale, now that is done, I thought hmm I had my fish for so long how come I don't even have pictures of my pet fishies (yes I know that's not a word). To those who are wondering, why I'm sometimes called Fishieboi - - I was sad enough to give myself that name (not really my sister did and that's another story), but I figured hey! that's a pretty cool name and somehow I just started to like fish, sometimes I wish I even a fish.

I mean you have absolutely no idea how easy flowing it is for a fish in a fish tank in someone's house hold, really all they do is just swim or float around and wait to be fed, it's that easy and if that's not easy going - then I don't know what is. That is the life I want, just float around all day on my arse and let the current of the waves in the tank take my shit away (literally) and rise to the surface of the tank water just to get some grub when I feel like it.

I just love this picture, the white fish has some kinda attitude problem here, I reckon it's so ghetto. Anyway just thought I'd share these with whoever reads my blog.

Today is a good bummed day!

Such a peaceful day today, it actually does feel kinda nice to wake up this early - something that I thought was never possible ever since from when I can remember, it was always just sloppy sleep-in Sunday for me. Sundays and Myself are like George Bush going on a prom date with Ossama Bin Ladin. But today for the first time, it felt like Bonnie and Clyde.

First thing's first I need a quick fix of my daily coffee, which reminds me I should go and boil the water, anyway just been thinking alot lately and I realised I'm really just a bum waiting to get lucky, I've realised it's time for me to actually get off my fat arse and do something about my part-unemployed status, I need a more casual part time job (if that made any sense). I figured the teen fast food scene just doesn't cut it for me, need something in my field of studies.

Which is why I've been checking out some Juniour IT technician jobs, by juniour I mean these are first step positions to becoming an IT technician in some relatively large corporation. Apllying for such a position may seem like a waste of time, but I find it would really benefit me and gain quite alot of experience of the IT technician environment, before I step up to the big boys (please no gay jokes).

It's been awhile since I've written a truthful blog entry and it feels kinda good to get this off my chest... I'm lazy and partly-unemployed, and I'm single and enjoy long nice quiet walks on the beach... Haha ok that's enough.

Great I must be gay, I'm now on Sir3n

*Update*

Go to gay Sir3n.

Who would've thought I'd get into a photo on Sir3n, after Fasntasia I decided to quit everything, no more raves, no more of the clubbing scene it was just too much for me. And eversince then it's lasted for awhile about 4 months until today.

Driving a couple of mates from Tafe to "Doolies" which wasn't a far ride, coming out of Tafe going down East St, the station way, coming to the first roundabout, pushed on the gas again, and there she blows (not in a good way - oh wait, I'm still talking about my car here... that's right). So inevitably I had to call up NRMA Road side assistance, little did I know it wasn't going to be anything more than just assistance. After got off the phone with the fairly nice lady notifying me the tow truck will arrive shortly within the next hour.

When the tow truck came, I wasn't expecting this fat fucking low-life mutherfucker who was probably the most ill-mannered dickfuck I've ever have come across from NRMA. Now my car was sitting sadly across the side of the kerb with the bonnet up showing it's guts, the towtruck faggot just drives a couple houses up from my car and screams across the street "Get the car down here" now at this point I'm thinking you do know you came with the tow truck for a reason right - this did not sound like assistance to me, didn't help to bring my car down the street instead I had to rely on my mates from Tafe to push the car as I left it in nutreul, and this is not all.

As I'm slowly turning the wheel to make it down the street to pass a few side kerb parked cars, this NRMA roadside assistant fag has the nerve to tell me "Get off the road!" now by this time I didn't really want anything to do with this dickhead but get my car home and that was all. Now unfortunately I had to be in the tow truck with this faggot on the ride home, as I step in the vehicle, I just glance at the side mirror to see things were going ok with the car behind - he turns around and goes;

"Can you do us a favour?"
By this time I thought wasn't such a prick after all - guess I was wrong.
"Yeah sure, what?" I said.

"Could you not look at the side window, makes it really hard for me to see when I'm driving, would you like it if someone did that to you while you were driving?"

At that time, I just thought, great 15minute ride home with this prick, so I just didn't say anything incase this guy's head explodes and by the looks of this lonely overweight prick, that wasn't the only thing that was going to explode in a minute. Nothing is worse than seeing some fat prick have his guts exploded and smear all across his front windscreen because he is having a bad day - just wasn't worth the trouble, just wanted to get my car home atleast.

I thought great made it home, so this guy tells me to leave my car in P while he get's the car off the truck, which I already knew, from previous experiences (unfortunately... done this before) so he unclips it off the truck and my car just starts to roll back quite far and quick on a big sort of thump! and now he just looked at me and goes;

"Did you leave it on P?"
"Yeah"
"If it was on P it wouldn't have done that"

By this point I was just like that's it, and just walked in my house without a thanks or anything. Now it might seem I was a whimp or something if I didn't smack this guy across the head, but I figured - - what's the point? This guy looked like he wasn't going anywhere in life anyway, broken teeth NRMA worker by day, drunken bogan by night, he's had enough already this fat prick can get wasted and drive for his awhole life, didn't really care.

All I see is black and white!

I always get bored of my desktops so easily, so heres another one I just want to share.

I quit...

It's been nothing but a small thought lately that everyday is like just a shortened existence to the end for me, that might not make much sense to anyone else, but after Fantasia, everything just hasn't been going good for me. Eversince the impression it's left on me from the last Fantasia back in October I think it was, it was well hardcore, had a good line-up (not that even matters anymore cause it all depends on the music that play on the night) but the music was good on that night, not only that I had some decent pills (yes I'm a druggo to some, a moderate taker to others I don't care... becuase the point of this post is that I quit).

So I figured since cause of the good vibe left in the back of my head from memory of the last Fantasia I decided to go to this Fantasia that just passed, with their key motto was to bring back the happy hardcore which I thought was well worth going, and not to mention the technology used on the night, like the 20 lasers or so and bounce mirrors which I've never experienced before, but as it turns out -- the bounce mirrors were nothing but two very big mirrors hanging of the warehouse ceiling, nothing impressive at all and the music itself, well it wasn't any better either, it was just full hardcore throughout the whole entire night, and I mean just hardcore, where was the happy in it? I have no idea at all.

It would be silly of me to determine how good a night was entirely on the kind of shit I take on the night, but that might have been the only reason why I thought last Fantasia was so good. But this Fantasia Laser Nation proved my point even more, maybe really Fantasia isn't really all that impressive, Laser Nation left me really dissappointed, I wanted my last rave to go off hardcore (I don't mean the pun there). But I guess this last dissappointing rave would have given myself more incentive to quit, so it's not all so bad if you think about it.

Alot of shit has happened, not only to me but also to others around me, especially the day after, and I better not disclose any of it online here, but just lenting it out, that I've finally had enough, alot of things happen which shouldn't really have to and I can't prevent it, so I've decided to quit altogether, enough is enough.

Happy early birthday to that special someone

I just want to start of with well... to be honest I don't know where I really begin with this, but just keep reading please because I am going somewhere with this. Little did I know that last year during one of the many GAS events in June, I'd meet someone as special as this person I'm thinking about right now. Yes it may seem sad to still hold onto some moments that obviously won't see the light again. When this person and I first met, it's like we almost just connected striaght off, felt so comfortable around this one person; and I've never had that feeling with anyone else on the first sight.

There is alot more I want to get off my chest, but this not the place to put these words down... the whole point of this post is just to say a Happy Birthday to this person, abit of an early one. Now because my friend drove me I didn't have my car with me that day, and my mate had to go pay off some guy for some shit, so I stayed at my ex's house cause I thought he wouldn't take that long.

And me and my ex, we kinda hitched, and there's chance we might even be back together, weird? Yeah it kinda feels weird. Besides I'm not as drunk enough to write so cohenrently again. A weird thing I always found ...well weird is how karma justifies itself upon us. Now I understand perfectly how karma system works.

My car got broken into, lost most of the audio hardware which I worked really hard for, ok that's fair enough these things happen. Now its been awhile, and it's really a long story, the house next to ours -- i.e. nieghbours house, we own that house and we rent it off. Now the people who were living next door to us, I knew as a friend, which my parents didn't know at the time, the guy who's been living next door has been setting up a weed growing fascination and has done quite some impressive modifications to the household to just grow these weed plants as it's optimum shape. I would post the pictures I took using my digicam, but it wouldn't be just write knowing who's actually seeing this online.

Now cause, they got busted, the cops etc were all there, so my friend didn't turn up to the house at all that day, which left his wife and his kid in the household to explain everything to the cops. The wife and kid were forced to move out a.s.a.p which left the kids Play Station One and big screen t.v. Since they were just lying in that house doing nothing I did the best thing possible, I brought them over into my room. So yeah I have a free PS One, so karma works it's treat in such weird ways. I lost my car audio, got my car broken into, and I get a free PS One in the end... weird.

You may say it's just a PS One, but I say it was free along with a big screen tv and DVD+VCR combo unit, so I ain't complaining.

Damn labrats

It's Friday and it's my 5th day staying at home... this is pretty much very saddening if I don't say so myself. A lab rat has more chance of escaping his cage than me going out nowadays. I'm being serious aswell. No one else has a car, it's just so sad. Cause basically the guys they have their own thing to do either from selling computers (don't ask me why) to like spending time with their girlfriends or something -- which I don't mind of course, just not used to this guys spending that much time with them is all.

Another thing which I find quite comforting is that this guy I knew and I patched things up at Godspeed, so now things are all good and tight again.

Think I might just go chillout and have a smoke and coffee, I'll hitchike my way to a coffee shop.

I'm in a moo-ing mood at the moment

Something I've came across on the net which I found quite funny at the time. Simpsons start in about an hour from now, and I didn't even wake up till like two hours ago, so it still feels like morning to me, and having The Simpsons showing on soon in about an hour, it feels like an early morning dose of The Simpsons to me, which we all know doesn't happen on free-to-air TV.

I've managed to get my room cleaned up today, feel so proud of my accomplishments these days, mainly because I don't get up to much anymore nowadays, still no ride, and not many people I know even have a car let alone their license, oh wait no that's just two people that comes to mind. At the moment I find it quite amusing I'm sitting infront of my computer and I'm listening to "Phantom Planet - Californnia" such a road trip song, I feel so much like to just get into a van with a bunch of people and plan a trip to go Bondi Beach or something, think the weather is partially leading me to those thoughts aswell.

The start of this summer!

Alot has changed in these past few months. Too many car problems, but that's expected from thrashing an old car around right? Yeah thoughtso. During this summer, not exactly sure how I'm going to get the cash I need to repair the car, or how I'm exactly going to past the time during this summer break... I mean no car, can't go out anywhere basically. No job -- no money to spend, as Telstra Stadium work has been finished for this year.

Basically I wanted to started this blog as a collection of my primitive thoughts and experiences I will encounter during this summer and follow me in my everquest for a search for a new car and new job, Haha boy will this be a long summer!

Just went to Godspeed on the weekend, and man it was hetick! And I'm feeling fine, which is rare for me, usually I'm scattered or really tired and feeling really down after a big night like so. But then I guess I only had three pills for the night guess that's why I don't feel as bad, so it's all good. The boys all want to go hardwars, so yeah thinking about it at the moment.
